I would like to put a backup light in the place of my 3rd brake light. Has anyone seen this or done this? If so, please share. I was looking at a light like this one….

No third brake light laws in NY? I'd check before removing it completely to stay legal (and safe).

A backup light is great and useful, I'd suggest wiring it up separately from your OEM wiring -- and not tapping into your factory reverse lights.

I know in Pennsylvania that you have to have a third brake light to be legal

How about one of these options and would allow you to stay legal....
