Darkknight1999 did a very nice write-up on making a fiberglass one.

14Sport posted the link, but If you need a hand just let me know. You can make the switch panel in such a way that it can accommodate a variety of different switch setups.

You can also make a custom secondary Fuse/Relay panel. I've built these for a few people including myself and my wife.

Thanks man never played with fiberglass might have to give it a try. Has anyone made a overhead console that still allows the use of the hardtop mounts on a 2012

Thats what I have. It fits perfectly, effects nothing and looks factory.

Any reason you want to mount them overhead? Depending on your model, you could fit at least 5, if not 6 switches on the front of your center console and tuck one or two on the side

Switches engraved with their function that are controlled by the factory panel dimmer, located where they can be read and easily used, satisfies the OCD in some of us. ;-)

Are you looking for an enclosed console, or just something to mount a cb, ham, etc. to? This is what I did and could be at least a starting place for what you want to do.
