Default switched power source

I'm wiring up my everblades heated windshield wipers and was looking for a power source. Is the switched accessory plug wiring capable of supplying a steady 3-6 amp draw? if not, where is a good switched source near the driver?

The three accessory sockets are fused for 20 amps.
Here is a thread showing how to get switched power without tapping the wires to one of the outlets.

Thanks, Ron. I see how that works. Pretty slick. But for this particular use, I've already got the switch inside the Jeep behind the dash, so I think I'll just tap the wire to the switched ACC outlet in the dash. Now that I know that's rated for 20amps, and my load is 3-6 with a 10amp in line fuse, I know I'll be fine. I didn't want to overload that circuit.

Thanks again for the quick reply.

Most people do prefer to tap the wire to the outlet. I've never been a fan of that, and went to this much effort to avoid it:
