[QUOTE=wayoflife;2856128]if you get something like the off road engineering custom switch panel, you can mount it just about anywhere...

The website doesn't give prices. What's those things cost?

Most of the prebuilt switch manufacture (simple solutions (I don't think they ever actually went to production), 12voltguy, etc) are all around 400-500ish. I would expect this would be in the same neighborhood.
Scary expensive.
Thanks for the response.

I think the one WOL has is around $350. He mentioned it in the thread where he showed it off (at least I seem to recall that he did).

I think they will look good there. I made my own switch panel out of steel for my dash. Anything that someone else doesnt have is how I like it. Here are a few pics it was raining and the panel was wet when I took the pics. It's not smudged

There is only about 1" which doesn't leave much room for a proper install above the mirror unless you can find a very low profile switch. I've done the daystar lower panel set up and really like the look.

only $325 and you can have it custom made with lables of your choice and with each button having a different function if needed. super easy to install and being so small and thin, you really can install it anywhere.

Switches should be here today, so I'm gonna check and see how the clearance looks. My guess is that I'll end up doing the Daystar Mod. I was thinking flush mounted would look cool above the mirror......

So will having the switches there affect the use of a soft top or shade top

Took things apart today, no way to get the switches flush mounter. :( I'm going to look at the daystar mod. There's only an inch or so..
