One last stupid question, do you need to reuse the factory tweeter grill or will the jl grill keep the tweeter in place?

Thumbs up

So I get the ZR replacement. Just a little cleanup for proper/tight fit. My question is around the wiring. Is it just a simple disconnect and reattach? Do the OEM tweeter wires have enough length to do the R&R easily. Dash component removal?

Is removing the OEM tweeter difficult?

Thanks in advance. I appreciate your patience

here's what i did, hot glued the tweeter into factory grill, added longer wiring to the existing wire that is soldered to the tweeter.

Re: removal, small flat head screw driver, gently pry the grill assembly off, comes off really easy, the factory wires are long enough to connect to the new tweeter.

So are you using an aftermarket crossover or just the oem jeep crossover?
