Default Stupid dealer

I just picked up the Mopar uconnect microphone from my dealer... The plug end is not right (too small) I checked online and found that there is another cord that needs to be added to plug into that and then to the radio. You think they would know that.......Stupid Idiot !!!!!!!!! Now I need to go back and school them on the parts they sell.

LOL. I just got mine a week ago and fortunately received both the mic and the pigtail. My dealer didn't believe the parts existed or that the JK was handsfree compatible. I showed him the part number and then I looked it up for him in the Mopar parts book because he couldn't find it.

Yeah....The damb pigtail. That's what they missed. Oh well I'll survive. I could have bigger problems I guess.

What part number did you get? If you ordered 82211743AB, then the pigtail should have been in the box and they should order you a new kit.

Yeah, I think the part number they ordered is just for the mic itself, inc ase it needed to be replaced. The part number I gave you is the complete kit with the mic and pigtail for attaching to the radio. Should be about $40

I picked mine up on EBay from a Jeep Dealer and he had it at a reduced price than what I could get it locally (less tax). If you need their information just PM me and I'll get it to you. Otherwise I'll post the Item Number for you and you can search it out. This kit can be installed on the MyGig RER radios. Conact the seller and he can give you specifics since they are an authorized dealer, which is also important if there are any future warranty issues.

Item Number: 390088536489
