Cool. So the heavy duty system can operate an impact gun for long enough to do a tire rotation?

It might.... I have single compressor with 2.5 gallon tank and I love it. Airs up my 37s from 10 psi to 35psi in about 15 minuites. If I did it again I would do dual compressors and hopefully cut that time to 10 minuites or so

yes,
a 10005 Heavy Duty OBA will pull off roughly about 6-8 lugs when plumbed correctly.

VIAIR Rep,

What is the difference between a VIAIR compressor that has a defined duty cycle, and one that is rated to run constantly? (100% being up to an hour)

Is it the head design, piston seal material, motor windings?

Can you give a little detail about it?

Well,

A good way to explain it is:

33% duty cycle is like a Track Sprinter
100% duty cycle is like a Marathon Runner

the track sprinter is going to run alot faster but can only run for so long before needing a rest.
the marathon runner will be slower but will run for a much longer time.

theres no difference in the way the compressors are built besides bore size, stroke, & motor RPM

Thank you,

Well, I was wanting to know if there are any physical/mechanical differences in the compressors.

It looks like you are saying there is no difference; just that one has a higher rpm than the other. Correct?
RPMs would be governed by motor windings?

you are correct on all counts, but also bore & stroke.
