Thanks. I like the 450P because it shuts itself off when air is not moving through the hose, and it has a 100% duty cycle, (up to 1 hour), which is plenty of time to do anything I want to do.

So for occassional offroading inflating 4 35" tires the 40043 is fine?????

I bought a 40043 in 2005 I believe. Great portable compressor. No regrets at all. Aired up my 35x16x15 Swamper Boggers on my CJ7 without too much standing around.

Thanks. What about with the 2.0 gal tank? I like the mount inside the engine bay behind the radiator. Problem is only a 2gal tank will fit. How would that do with an impact gun?

Yes.. I personally have filled 8 35" tires from 15-50 with out even hitting the thermal over-load...

the two gallon tank will pull off about 4 lugs... (NO REGULATED) I got 6 lugs off regulating the air to 95psi...

Cool. So with the regulator... pull off 5 lugs... then the tank would automatically fill again? How long would it take to full the 2 gal tank to be able to pull another 5 lugs?

Thanks.

roughly about 27sec. (enough time to hand start your lugs when putting the rim back on)
