Warn makes a good product. Sure it will be just fine. I don't really understand the "fob" thingy thou. How often do you really think it will be used outside of the cab?

I was just concerned with the fob being cheaply made and a replacement ends up costing more than the lights themselves

I just double sided taped my fob to the center console. I like the fob idea because I didn't have to run wires through the dash

After mounting and wiring the new lights, running two wires thru the dash is nothing. And, you never have to replace the batteries.

I bought their lights but saved the harness for another setup... I regret buying their lights, they aren't as bright as the kc hilites I had in the past. I'm planning on selling them for some d2s

I agree it isn't hard running the wires through the dash, but if i don't need to then I don't really see a point. As far as the batteries go its not like they wear out fast with a push of the button

Ya. Under ideal storage conditions. Where I live, temps range from 4* to 104*.
