Default PowerPlant on a JKU 10A

When I purchased my 10A there were no winch plates available for the PowerPlant so I fabricated my own. The bumper has a cut out for the cable that is centered on the bumper and the PowerPlant cable area is offset to the driver side. I made a plate to cover the resulting hole but unfortunately when the letters were laser cut the company used the wrong font so the letters were not placed correctly. Other than that I'm pleased at how it turned out. I also made a bracket to relocate the vacuum pump without having to cut or splice any connections. There are now plates out there but they are not cheap!

Were you looking for something specific in your request for pictures?

Mostly fitment. I'm curious to see how much clearance or is on all sides and how high it sits. Which mounting plate did you use?

Default More info

My original post stated that I fabricated my own winch plate. The pictures show how it is positioned and how it works with the 10A bumper configuration.

For me, mounting a winch above the frame rail was not an option I would want for a number of reasons. (1) I did not want the "twist/bend" stress of having the pull center above the frame rails and (2) I wanted to maintain, as much as practicable, the grill area so as to help prevent overheating on trails where the Jeep is working hard and doesn't get much air flow. and (3) I wanted an install that cosmetically was subtle and "not in your face".
