Default What LED headlights to buy? Help?

I want to get a set of aftermarket LED headlights but I have no idea which ones I should get. Which ones and why? A material list would be good? I see harnesses, etc. Not sure what all I need. 2015 JKUR. Thanks.

There are two schools of thought when it comes to LEDs......1) buy name brand, or 2) buy cheap. I've seen both worth well, and there are a lot of threads with various comments about each on the forum. Can't find the thread at the moment, but there was one not too long ago a user posted an inexpensive honeycomb version that him and his buddies had been using with good success. Truck-Lite is the only one that has a heating element in the lens if that matters to you. JW Speakers are nice, but pricey. Seen some with the quadratec versions that liked em. To me, headlights are a big safety thing. I want something that is DOT approved. I have JW Speaker Gen 2's myself. If you replace, please make sure to aim them properly. Even if you've never touched the adjustments on the factory lights, the new ones will most likely be aimed too high.

Post #8, Riptide offers a suggestion on a budget friendly light on Amazon that is working for them. There are various opinions in that thread....worth reading.

I'd add to your list the Procomp lights, (often on sale for $250) they provide excellent output and a great cut off as to not blind oncoming traffic. I have them on our '14 and they're just as good as the factory LEDs on our '18.

Good luck!!

Thanks. That looks like the thread I need. So many choices and a wide range of cost...

Y, there are a lot more decent options out there than there used to be. several years back you were either spending a lotta jack, or getting some very questionable junk that may or may not work. I think the market has filled in quite a bit with some decent mid-range options; however, it kinda complicates the decision process having so many to choose from.

I've been running the Truck-Lite LEDs for 5 years with no problems. I recommend them as a first mod since most people will use their headlights daily. Everyone that has followed my advice say it is one of the best mods they made. Good luck.
