Default Where to mount rocker switches

Going to be picking up the ARB High Output compressor and led lights in the future and was looking at rocker switch options. Was going to get the Daystar rocker switch panel to get rid of the cargo net by the shifter but saw it won't work with the manual. Other then above the rear view mirror (cb is mounted there) or the A pillar, any other options?

I mounted my custom switch panel below the steering wheel.

Mounted mine next to the steering wheel on the right, under the instrument panel.

I like the pillar option but choose the lower dash because I have auto.

I believe someone had theirs mounted to the left of the steering wheel above the speaker. Looked real clean

I do like this idea, however, how difficult is it to remove the "offroad" blank space?

The Rugged Ridge A-pillar mount, with OTRATTW switches is the cleanest way to go. Dozens of posts on this subject.
You can get the RR mount from multiple vendors, but here is one:

I am not 100% sure on what you are asking. It may have been JK505, I would PM him and ask how he went about doing it

I mounted a rocker for some flood lights just above the drivers side speaker.

The rocker was large diameter so i drilled a hole with a unibit.

the side panel comes off real easy.

Not sure why the jkforum app rotated my photos counter clockwise but its a pretty straight forward install. Just ask if you have questions
