BFGoodrich KO2 Rocks To Riches Contest
BFGoodrich has launched their all new KO2 Tire and sent 11 trucks on a journey through the desert to compare and evaluate the tire on the trails.
This event, dubbed RocksToRiches, began in Barstow, CA and we traveled 150+ miles off-road through the Mojave National Preserve to end up at the New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas. Our team was guided by Maka and Miro from Miromak.com in one of their ‘JEEPMAK’ Jeep JKs. Take a look at our dream off-road trip, as BFGoodrich now wants to give another user on the site a chance to win four (4) new BFGoodrich KO2 Tires by describing their own trip. See contest details at the end of this post.
Here are some great photos that were captured of the trip including shots of JK-Forum users Alex909, Miromak, sm_rubi and DesertJeep.
Contest Requirements
To be eligible to win a set of BFGoodrich KO2 tires for your rig please post a picture in this thread of your truck and tell us your dream off-road trip. Is there a specific trail you have always wanted to take? Part of the world you would love to explore? Let us know to win! One runner up will also recieve a BFGoodrich Rocks to Riches T-shirt and prize pack!
The contest is open for entries from December 4th until 5:00PM Pacific on December 18th. Full contest rules here : BFGoodrich KO2 Rocks To Riches Contest Rules

My dream off-road trip would be anywhere actually since my Jeep is currently a daily driver and is basically stock. I have hopes it'll one day get a lift with bigger tires and some armor. Rausch Creek is probably the closest spot I could take it once it is transformed but I wouldn't mind taking it to Pike's Peak or Arizona to do some more adventurous climbing.

My dream trail would be moab, my jk is mostly stock besides 3inch lift. I would just like to try moab and see how it would handle. 2012 jku sport. Im curious to see what it can do. Not everyone has the funds to build a "Rattletrap", Alaska would also be fun different terrains snow, ice, mud, rock. I think id like to travel. Why stop at one trail...how about them all!

Wow!!!
Ok, this is the coolest contest so far!!! First of all I love BFGoodrich. All terrains were always on my F-150! Now with my new Sahara the Duelers are toast and the JK is in need of new rubber!
My dream trip would be some overlanding in Utah! I live in Socal so the trip wouldn't be too bad! I want to take the Jeep out with my wife to the highest point I can find and show her the beauty of getting off the beaten path. Let the landscape speak for me. I want to find a location that is so beautiful it takes her breath away, somewhere you are only going to get in a Jeep. I want the K02's to get me there. At the end of the day I want her to want to go back out with me again and again.
Thank you guys for putting this contest out there. Best of luck to all! Attached is my Jeep bringing home a Christmas tree for our 11 month old little girls first Christmas!

My dream trio would be to take my family across America towards Oregon or Washington and hit all the great sights between Louisiana and final destination. Since my current tires are worn out it might be a while. Lol. Spending time with the family and seeing the great places of this country = happiness in my book.

My dream trail is to ride the Black Bear Pass down to Telluride Colorado. Telluride is my favorite town I've ever been to and I try to get there every few years for the Blues and Brews festival. I live to far to drive so I have never been able to get my jeep on that trail. One day!
Thanks for the awesome give away. Choose me please.

My dream trip would be to take my family out to Colorado to do some back country exploration, especially the Black Bear Pass and some of the old mining areas. It wouldn't all be extreme rock crawling, just taking in the sights or the mountains and all the beauty that they have to offer. My wife and I went out to Colorado for our honeymoon but we only had a Plymouth Neon at the time so we didn't get far off the highway. Now that I have a capable Jeep I would love to get back out there. We have talked about doing this trip but time and money just never seem to line up.

My dream trip is to take my dad up to Alaska to explore, 4x4, and fish. When my dad was younger, he did a similar trip with my grandpa and still recalls it as one of the best trips of his life, and some of his favorite moments with my grandpa. I’d love to set up a long-term travel trailer, drive up to Alaska, and spend a lot of time exploring with my dad, including traveling the Denali Highway and fly fishing some of the most incredible fisheries in the US.
For now, I’ll be exploring the GWNF in Virginia and bettering my driving technique. Here is my JKUR, which has only needed a winch and CB radio added to it to be a very capable and practical 4x4er.

Little background: I've been in the army for almost 4 years now. I'm stationed in Georgia and have lived east coast my whole life. I finally saved up enough to buy the vehicle I've always wanted since I was old enough to reach the wheel. I bought my jeep stock about a year and a half ago. Since have added lots of parts. It's been a love / sometimes hate relationship, haha. After Christmas my suspension will be finally done and was planning on tires at tax time.
My dream would be to travel out west and tackle the rubicon with my wife. There isn't a lot of great wheeling on the east coast as compared to the west. Hopefully by the time I get out in April we'll be able to make the trip.
