Broken Tranfercase

Default Broken Tranfercase

Has any body else broke there transfer case. Mine exploded. Doing 70 mph on the freeway. I have a 2010 rubicon, 2 dr, 4 inch lift, 37 inch tires

So just driving and poof? What was the condition of the oil in it?
What do you mean by exploded? Pics?
More story yet to come.....right?

Hmm been awhile since i heard about a TC boom.

And vibes previous ?
Stock/aftermarket front shaft?
What was caster set to?

Just happened to me also a month ago, same scenario. Only pieces left.

For the record I had good pinion angle no vibes. Then halfway home from work bad front shaft vibe out of nowhere for about 30 seconds then boom. 3 inch long arm, 37's,1310 double Cardon shafts. I had just had front shaft out two weeks prior during my gear swap everything looked good. It happens. Also had fresh fluid in mine.

That braces front to back of case over the top on front shaft side? Does it bolt to the jeep also? Sorry hard to see in my phone.

Nice I like it. If I go back with a stock case I'll definitely be picking one of those up.
