Krylon got on body paint. Best way to remove it?

I used a clay bar to get rusty grinding dust that was embedded into the clear coat of a white Jeep off. It worked amazingly and will make the rest of your paint so smooth you won't be able to set anything down on the Jeep because it will just slide right off. Haven't tried it on paint flecks though.

35 years owning my own collision shop. Small area wipe with thinner and wax afterwards. Large area you will need to hit with clay bar and thinner the stubborn spots. WD40 will leave a nasty oil residue. Clear coat is strong it can take a little thinner. It will remove all previous wax. So be sure to reapply.

Why not rubbing compound? Not suggesting it, just curious why it would not be a solution?

For the most part it would be overkill, unless it's a large area. Claybar or small amount of thinner would be ideal. Personally I always attempt claybar before a chemical. I agree that most clearcoat is thick and durable but if it's oem you need to treat it as thin and weak.
