Default Project Pyro

I've been off-Roading since retiring from the Navy about 8 years ago. I started in an XJ then on to an MJ then an XJ Truggy and finally a JK. I was at Davey's Jeep a couple months ago and stumbled across this burned out 2015 Willys and decided it was time for me to start my next project. After building the truggy I realized how much I missed driving to and from the local trailhead. So for this build I'm shooting for road manners and Off Road prowess with as little compromise as possible. I'm hoping to lean on the forum for information since I have no experience with Wranglers.

- Dana 60 front 14 bolt rear geared and locked
- PSC hydro assist
- 10 inch rear stretch

As you can see it was burned pretty bad. Even my son decided he would get in on the fun.

Found the window sticker, it was partially protected due to being stored inside the factory manual.

Made another trip up to Davey's Jeep for parts. Picked up this 07 Rubicon for all the rubber, wiring, dash, column, windshield wiper system and brake system.

made a couple carts to make it easy to move the tub and frame around by myself. I also cleaned up the body and frame and shot a quick coat of primer to protect it while it waits its turn for media blasting and paint.

I did alot of reading to try and decide what motor mounts I would use. I chose Jeep Speed Shop because I liked how you could align them with holes in the frame. However on the drivers side if I align the holes then the rear of the mount is about a quarter inch above the rail. Has anyone else used these mounts?
