red.jk's build
Hey all! Just wanted to start a build thread. I'm sure there are better and bigger Jeeps out there, but I wanted a place to log all my mods.
Thanks for reading!

This is the second Jeep I've owned, but first Wrangler. My first Jeep was a 1995 2dr Cherokee Sport that i bought in 2013. I traded it in as a down payment on my Wrangler in May of 2016.
I had been looking into buying a Wrangler for about a month or so and when i found this one i couldn't resist. It's a 2008 Wrangler X 6 speed manual and only had 54000 miles on it. Very well maintained. I am the 4th owner of this Wrangler.
The previous owners had done a few modifications to it.
AVS Bug Shield
Quadratec Window Visors
Quadratec "A" pillar grab bars
An unknown brand of step bar
And a Bestop replace a top
There she is. I'm also not sure if there has been a small lift kit, or a leveling kit or if its just the tires but she sets up higher than most X or Sport models that I've parked next to. My current tire size is 25575/R17.

So the 3rd week I owned her and I break the passenger side door surround opening the sunrider.
I was able to Gorilla Glue the piece back on and it held surprisingly well. Especially after I learned you don't just use brute force to open the sunrider...
Ordered a Mopar replacement and a week later it arrived and was fixed.

My first mod!
I know, I know... a maglite mount. But hey, its cheap and easy right?
The few write ups I've read has been to drill a pilot hole then use a self-tapping screw to then mount the brackets. I didn't care for that so i drilled a 9/64 hole and bought some 6/32 size bolts with lock nuts. Now I know my mount is tight and if it gets lose I can tighten it up easily.
