Default Artec Chromoly Rod Ends

Really impressed by this Artec kit as it includes "Go Big or Go Home" 1.25 inch Chromoly rod ends with jam nuts, and misalignment spacers. Here's a few pics:

Are you going to sell or get rid of those corner guards? I'd be interested if you are. So Cali here.

The axle is still located in the same manner (4 link and track bar). Bump steer will not happen either as you do not have a drag link.
I thought it was from the track bar, not the steering componets, that you got death wobble from. I know when I was getting death wobble on my 79 Ford bronco I replaced the track bar bushings and everything was a ok. I thought the ram was for steering?

The ram is for steering.

Bad track bar bushings can cause steering wheel shimmies for sure. But isnt technically death wobble.

Death wobble is most often caused by poor caster angle. The allows the wheels to start oscillating on their own. Basically they shake to the left and right, which then transfers up to the steering wheel. A ram doesn't allow this to happen as the wheel is held firmly in place by the ram. In a normal steering setup the steering stabilizer can soak up some of this, but not all of it.

Make more sense?

CALIJK: Looks almost like you are going to need a trailer just to haul around your spare :P Although with SX's I would be surprised if you ever actually needed it. They have incredibly thick sidewalls.

Yeah, if I remember correctly the sidewalls are 6 ply. They're also pretty darn heavy! I need to keep working out, or I'll never be able to get that spare in/out of the rig.

Starting to pull the 39" BFG Krawlers from the rims - just got the spare tire done so far. The Krawlers are still in great shape; really only did a couple of runs with them. Vince has already claimed these, so they should be all on his rig by the end of next weekend. Thinking of starting a new business: Dave's Tire Shop. Maybe Jim will lease me some space at the shop.

Here's the spare done and ready for Vince's wheel:
