Well, they are still junkyard parts, so I will be saving a lot of money and have the opportunity to build them exactly the way I want..

Thanks Dave. It would be great if you and Laura can come out and see the Little Sluice Challenge next summer on the Rubicon.

Thanks Matt. Yeah, I've seen a lot of great builds in SoCal, and I really like the work that the guys at EVO do, but I want to do something very different and custom. That's why I went to Jim at JCFab.

Default Junkyard Shopping For An Atlas

I went shopping yesterday...No, not at the Mall with every other human on the planet...I went "junkyard shopping" for an Atlas transfer case:

Man, there's a lot of junk here.

That's a cool old Jeep:

Wait a minute...what's under here?

That's it! An Atlas II, 2-speed, 5:1 gear ratio truck transfer case. I'll take it and please gift wrap it.

There are treasures to be found in junk yards. And you just found one. Nice! Did they put a bow on it for?

Keep us in the loop when you start to put trip details together. We'd like to go if we can get the time off.
