Default any have experience with tread wright tires?

I am seriously looking at these. looking for 33's but they seem to charge an awful lot for shipping. (Over 145 dollars to ship to PA and 4-7 business day turnaround time on the shipping). Most companies out there are offering free shipping or offering it at a discounted rate. Any suggestions. Looking to upgrade my tires but just cant aford 300 for offroad mud tires brand new.

Most places that offer free shipping on oversize tires are just adding it in to the cost of each tire. And for the tires, this is just my opinion but it isn't something I would like to risk by getting retreads. They have a few complaints on the BBB. I don't know anyone personally who has taken the risk on a DD rig.

Set of 315/70/17's just came in. I don't have experience with them, but 6 members of my jeep club run them, and say they will never buy full priced tires again.

Goodyear wrangler duratrac is a great tire. I had a set of 33's on another vehicle and never got stuck, not in 2ft of snow or deep mud. They are considered a hybrid tire. Not to expensive either.

I had the TW Guard Dogs in 315/70/17 on my XJ as a daily driver and they were pretty good tires on road and off road, especially for the price! I even aired them down and back up and drove home after wheeling 300 miles with no issues.

Here was the XJ, before I sold it to get the JK, with the Treadwrights:

I think you will find a "yes" for every "no", I am going to try a set when I replace my tires. If they work for me, great. If they don't, lesson learned.

decided against the tread wright. they are doing away with the 305's. Also when i take thier shipping into account I can get a goodyear dura trac or dunlop fierce attitude cheaper or around the same price. thier shipping killed them on this one. the goodyear place is cutting me a grerat deal on tires and i do not have the shipping, but thanks for all the help.
