Shouldn't have any problems. I take mine a couple times every year. I alway hit the car wash on way back from Outer Banks to quickly remove as much salty sand as I can. I then give a more thorough wash within a couple days of getting home paying close attention to the underside. So far haven't noticed any more corrosion on the Jeep than it was when I bought it new..

Jeeps are anti-corrosive, but make sure you always give it a good rinse under body to get all the sand out. If u can use high pressure much better. Rinse everything u can

Paint started to chip from the rear corners after about a year of my trip to the beach . I have to confess i was very stupid to drive it on the water. I should have stayed on the sand.

What permit? Don't tell cruising up highway 12 until the road runs out isn't going to be free anymore?

Only permit I was told about was for atvs. 12 is considered a highway. No permit needed for jeeps.

there was something put in place that requires people to pay to drive on the beach. I thought it was all of OBX, but I guess just some parts.
