FIRE! FIRE! Are you Prepared!?
I have a Halon type nautical fire extinguisher on mine. Those are the best in terms of putting down the fire and a good thing is they do not leave a mess out of it.
It's still on green but I've had it for more than three years now so likely need to send otmover for a check and recharge.

Halon is the gold standard, so much so that it’s what the FAA requires and or recommends, but as it’s manufacture stopped years ago the only supply is recycled like R-12 for instance and every year it gets more and more expensive. Mostly Halon is two types, 1211 and 1301, one is a gas like CO2 and is meant to flood areas like computer rooms, the other is a liquid and is meant more to soak things sort of like water, there is even an extinguisher that is a mix of both. I carry the mixture extinguisher in my airplanes. God forbid but if you ever had to put someone out like from a camp stove explosion, Halon is what you want. Problem with airplanes is you can’t just jam on the brakes and jump out, you may have to deal with the fire on the way down, so dry chemical isn’t an option because discharge that in an enclosed area and you can’t see or even breathe for that matter. I hate dry chemical but ai hate fire even worse. I carry dry in my Jeep, Halon is just too much $$. I’ve been burnt but by hot hydraulic oil not a fire but if you have been burnt it’s something you don’t want to experience again.
As many vehicle fires start with electrical it might be a good idea to install a Master relay that would disconnect the battery by flipping a switch? Also stop a run away winch too.
Check the prices.

Seems Halotron has gotten stupid expensive, better to get Halon once you figure it takes twice as much Halotron to get the same effect.

Finally as crazy as this sounds don’t forget plain ole water, if you get a fire in your camping gear like sleeping bags, tents etc. water just might be the most effective agent.
