Remember, when you use a mechanical advantage like a snatch block for a 2:1 theoretical advantage you also double up the load on your anchor and all the components in your winching system. When you use a mechanical advantage you increase the chance of gear failure somewhere in your hauling system. Snatch blocks are good solutions, when used correctly.

how doses a snatch block work im guessing u put a rope or something thru the lops and around the tree then put the hook of the winch on your tow hook and start winching idk plz explain
