i've actually been fairly suprised with the plastic...
I landed really hard a few times directly on rock and nothing other than cosmetic dmg. After wheeling, I peeked my head under and might have just been lucky and hit the brackets as a few of the bolts had heads that were mangled... it'll be interesting taking those off to replace with REAL rockrails.
my vote... beat them till they break. after all, you did purchase them... and it'll be a great story to tell the rest of us

Probably been told this already but it would be a good idea to remove plastic steps/running boards, and watch out for your evap. canister and oil pan. these are the vulnerable areas on a stock JK's underside. Have fun
