How to offroad with your mom
Guys, I Am sorry... How do you do it?!? How do you offroad with your mom in the jeep? Do you just say, screw it and punch the gas? I hate my life. I got to take her hiking soon.

I went with my mother in law. Coming down a hill with the mountain on one side, and couple hundered foot cliff on the other side and about 5' of clearance I backed up about a mile to allow a vehicle coming up the hill to pass. After backing up I asked her to unfold her mirror so I could see where the edge of the cliff was in case I needed to do that again. That was the first and last time she wanted to go.

My mom loves to hit the trails with me when she comes out to visit. She has wheeled with me in 4 different states and 3 different countries. She's kind of a Jeep mom, she almost became a mom IN her CJ when she was on the way to the hospital to give birth to me! I've been addicted ever since 
Just wheel with her how you normally wheel, let her drive a few obstacles and she'll be hooked.

I'm with you DESERTDUST. My mom passed away dec 5th 2007 and I would give anything to take her for a ride in my jeep.
Pluke the 2, I am guessing you are too young to understand how much you miss someone until they are gone. Its a hard lesson, so take it from someone that is living it now. Be happy your mom is showing some interest in something you like to do. Even parents were once young and most still like to have fun.

If i took my mom her foot would be going through the dash. She get scared when i even drove on the road she has me do under the speed limit. I tell her to take deep breaths. She thinks were going to flip all the time.
