I also had grinding issues.... But I took the advice of a friend, and like other posts before mine, I shifted at a slower roll and now I dont get the grinding. I still hear the gears shifting, but no grinding.

From 2wd -> 4wd HIGH: stopped or moving up to ~ 45 mph
From 4wd HIGH -> 4wd LO: Rolling about 1-4 mph (Be in neutral AND have clutch depressed (If 6 Speed)
From 4wd LO -> 4wd HIGH: Rolling about 1-4 mph (Be in neutral AND have clutch depressed (If 6 Speed)
From 4wd HIGH -> 2wd: stopped or moving up to ~ 45 mph
