Offroading with my 6 Speed
Pretty interesting. This is my first jeep w/ manual, but my second manual 4x4 overall. Looking forward to tgis winter and give 4 hi a try. I especially lije how the jeep has a stick for 4 -wheel drive. My ranger had a push button... Which was okay but always made me feel weary about it.
Although this is my second manual tranny, i do stall and at times struggle woth it. I dont believe i am burning the clutch, but sometimes i roll of smooth and other times i get i high raise in rpm. If i ride the clutch, its maybe for a few seconds.
Do any of you think that burns on the clutch.
Also, my only other woory is problems jk folks have been having with the throw out bearing. I love manuals but have been second guessing after reading about folks and their bearing problems. Want to teach the wife with the jeep but now hesitant. After all i have read concerning clutch clicking noises and throwout bearings
