Remember the New Kid....
thanks for that. Ive been wheeling only about 10 times now, and I consider myself the new kid
I love going wheeling with someone that has never gone, my first time was still my best time, And I would say it was the group that I was with that made it as such.

I recently went on my first wheeling trip with other Jeepers (New England guys from this forum). I've been on some logging trail and whatnot, but no real wheeling until my recent experience. I have to admit, I was more worried about driving 90 minutes to meet up with a bunch of hardcore-wheeling types that I'd never met than I was to see what my stock X would do (or not do) on the trail. It was a little bit of a leap of faith.
I met up with them, and they couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Guys like Texsdream77, JeepinMass and others loaned me tools, gave tips and spotted me the whole time. I learned a ton, and they seemed happy to have me. As a noob just getting into this, I have to say- take the chance and meet up with strangers if you want to learn. If you're experience is anything like mine, you'll be psyched you made the effort. Jeepers tend to be good folks.
Here's a video from my first real off-road trip (it's mostly Tex's beast)...
