What are the best things to do for a stock Jeep on its first Jeep Jamboree

WOW! This thread keeps on goin. All the info hear is very helpful.
You will love the Jeep Jamborees and don't worry you will have no problem. I went to East Tenn nearly two years ago bone stock and never ran across anything my X couldn't handle. Most JJ trail ratings are on the cautious side, meaning what they rate a 6 is actually a 3. Its still alot of fun and a great way to start but you will soon want more challenge. Your local jeep groups usually have more challenge and cost alot less. MWJT is a great group based out of St Louis, MO and they make the Jamboree I went to look like a sunday drive in the park.

I must admit I really want to go to a JJ too, but am a bit nervous about it. I live in south western indiana, so I have lots of options, French Lick, LBL, Cumberland, East TN, Badlands. I am just worried that the 3-4 rated trails will not be rookie enough for this rookie
I have 33"s and the dealer put on a 1.75" spacer lift, I have also put LOD sliders on Blue, but other than that not much else.
If anyone has been to a JJ and could provide more info on what I am likely to run into or across that would be great! I was thinking of going to French Lick this fall and I would like to do one this spring or summer as well...

Regarding CB radios - is there a set channel for offroading, or does everyone at the JJ (or whatever) just decide on one channel when the outing begins?

Only been to one JJ last year in West Virginia and ran a stock 2-door Rubicon on a Level 5 trail the first day. I had a Shrockworks front bumper w/e-disco skid, oil pan skid & transmission skid, front & rear diff covers, and lower control arm bracket skid.
I used every one of them crawling through the rocks and deep mud pits there.
At a minimum I would consider adding oil pan and front diff protection, especially if considering a Level 5 or higher trail. That's my experience and advice.
