Ditto...I think it's pretty ironic to see a jacked up off road vehicle without a drop of dirt on it sitting in a parking lot. Besides that...dirt is like wax...it provides a protective coating over the paint.

So you can get 'fresh' dirt on it!!!!

One time when I was stationed in Berlin GE (had a Toyota 4x4 at the time), the Security Police (US Air Force) left me a very interested warning ticket. Can't remember all the details, but it went somewhat along the lines of "Clean windshield - 4x4s are supposed to be dirty, and so forth!

I knew the guy that put it one there - later gave him a hard time!

Beer afterwards? From what I saw during my first 4wheelin' experience, you drink DURING the offroad trip. I wouldn't, but just about every other driver had a beer in their hand and/or secured on the dashboard.

Stop before you hit the highway and pick the stones from your tires, especially with the mud terrains, man they pick up some hefty stones.

They automatically throw out, why due that?

Air up is a good idea though.

The removing the stones is good since I have broken lenses on both of my stock fog lights (which I have notseen anyone sell guards for).

I would say as the thing to do though... take photos nad use a permanent marker to mark the highest water line

Not sure what it's like in Washington, but up here if they get your plate number, you're liable.

Though I figure if some asshole is tailgating me and I hear a stone fly out of my wheel well and into his windshield, the first thing I'm going to do is nail the brakes. Me being rear-ended is his fault
