SAS survival guide is $5.99 for the full version on an iPhone or iPad. I'm sure Android has one too. ;-)

I have been accused of overdoing the spare parts thing, so take my advice or leave it...My moto is that if I break it, I buy two replacement parts - one fixes the Jeep, and the other goes in the spare parts trail box in the back of my JKU. Just off the top of my head, I know the box has:

-ball joints
-u-joints
-tie rod ends
-front and rear axle shafts
-bolts/nuts for just about everything
-brake lines and banjo bolts
-pitman arm
-all fluids
-I know there's a lot more...

And, all the tools to fix the above, including a portable welder. The box has gotten quite heavy over time!

Oh yeah, and in case I forgot something and get stranded, a satellite phone to call in the calvary!
