I have a Mile Marker SI 9500. Switch it to Viking's synthetic Line. Had it for 3yrs and used it a few times never failed on me.

I have a XRC and it's busted on me before...the damn lever also gets stuck a lot of the time.

I'm looking at buying a winch very soon and have been doing some research. I will probably be going with the smittybilt, not sure which model yet, probably the best one I can afford lol. Good reputation, almost no bad reviews, and good warranty service.

I would seriously consider the recon winch, I have used mine an am very happy with it and it's waterproof
