I just unloaded the small trailer I have but i'll have it loaded up with my JD in the next couple days.

Not to beat a dead horse, but you can see the rear of the JK squatting from the tongue weight, therefore, most of the trailer weight has to be forward of the axles. Otherwise, the trailer would be lifting the back of the JK.

Well, you really cannot say the rear of the Wrangler is squatting from the trailer. It is unknown what is loaded in the back of the JK. If some jackass will load that much stuff on the trailer, who knows what they would load int he back of the JK. I believe much of the weight of the bobcat is being handled by the wheels as to not lift the front of the trailer up. I agree there is some weight on the front of the trailer, just not 7000 lbs as guessed in a previous post. If there was in fact 7000 lbs loaded that far forward on the trailer the JK would be squatting more than that. I really don't think the trailer, much less the JK would pull for long without some sort of mechanical failure. There is not much to the hitch or the frame crossmember holding the hitch.

Not trying to argue what the exact weight of the trailer is, just pointing out that I don't believe the JK (or the trailer) could actually go far with 12000 lbs.

But who knows, perhaps it is actually towing 12000 lbs.

It took my son and I two months to clean up the debris at our church after a severe ice storm
last December. We towed dozens and dozens of trees to the road, where we then chopped
them up to be picked up by the city:
