It is fiberglass . I like the look of the fenders ...not sure about the hood though with that mid-section.
wait, evo sells the hood/flare combo for only 800? that seems wicked cheap....

or did you just mean the clip that attached the hood to the lower flare

Sorry guys, still no ETA in 2011-12 apps at the moment. We are making progress with Cummins so hopefully that will also equate to progress with gas applications as well. I will update everyone as I get more info.

Default Project-JK 2011 SEMA Show Spotlight - Burnsville Off Road 2012 JK 392 HEMI Conversion

Back in 2006, Burnsville Offroad came to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada with the very first HEMI converted Jeep JK Wrangler. This year, they came once again with the very first 2012 JK running a 392 HEMI. In this video spotlight, you’ll get to hear Dan McKeag highlight some of its features.

Forget the 2011, 12. I asked about DRL settings over a year ago, your engineers still haven't figured that one out.

Two things that I found and am curious about.

The first may just be cause it was at a show, but howcome no rear shocks? Maybe I missed something.

The second is of more importance to me...............Leaf Springs in the rear of a JK? I would like to see some action shots of this puppy and see if the benifit is for offroad, or more aimed at road manners since its an expedition rig.

That leaf sprung JK is a JK 8 miliatry version that Overland Journal is being allowed to use. I believe they have leafs to help with weight and towing in military applications.

But..... I could be totally wrong.

It does appear to have some military touches on it. That rear bumper is very similar to the bumper on my H1. Leaf springs would be be a bit better for towing and stability. In the rear of Hummers/HMMWV's we use a big progressive rate coil, but when unloaded it is stiff and bouncy. The H1 unloaded is around 8,000 lbs+ so leafs were probably the better option for the JK.

Sorry to change subject for a second, I was very intreaged by the leafs as I have never heard or seen anything about this topic before.

BACK TO SEMA!!
