Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

Getting set up for overlanding here in Australia, Jeeps been setup with AEV 2.5" lift, AEV front and rear bars just got the AEV water tank connecting kit to install, snorkel is being installed next week and Sharpwrax JK roof rack has been ordered which I will attach my Yakima Mega Warrior basket too to hold the heavy gear and free up room inside the Jeep.

This is what it looks like now

This is the rack I have ordered that tilts back with the soft top on so you can put it down.

And this is how I expect my setup to look using the rack once I have it setup

You can overland up beaches here to camping spots

And this is the type of terrain to expect on some trails inland

Still to do and get
Limb Risers
Waterproof Cargo bags for the roof
Cargo bag for rear tire
plus much more as I think about it.

How have you found the Gobi rack? Was thinking about adding it for a trip across the Simpson desert next year!

I've only had it for one small weekend trip but driving around with it for just over a month. I love this thing. It's tough, light, and looks great. Only real downside is the MPG lost; seems like the rule of thumb is expect to drop 2MPG on average. Mine is not a daily driver, so I don't care.

I plan on doing some longer trips when my girlfriend and I finish our college degrees, so I am looking forward to having it then. I already have a fridge and fridge slide in the back, so being able to put things up top to save room inside the Jeep will be great. If I didn't have a truck this would be used every weekend for projects at home. I highly recommend it. If you have any question feel free to ask: I did my research on these things for almost 2 years.

Bought the handicap rear ramp basket from harbor freight and modified it because I wanted a larger sized carrier.
