These are the wheels I have. I have only seen these, the hulks and the chrome clad wheels. I have yet to see anyone with the type of wheel posted.

I was on the Commander forum for a while as well. I don't think many people were posting pics of their steel spare rim.

When I bought my Commander it had 5 chrome. My dealer had a brand new, lower trim level Commander on the lot with Hulk wheels. I asked to swap straight up. The dealer, knowing he could charge a mark up for chrome since it was not on the sticker, jumped all over it. My new set had 4 Hulk and 1 spare that looked like the wheel in question.

I think that the specific wheel package determines weather you get a matching spare or not. Some get matching spare and some do not.

It's kind of like how nobody ever sees the base model "X" JK with vinyl seats. It exists, but it's super rare.

Edit: I just went to the Jeep web site. Before you add any options, it indicates there is a "17 steel spare wheel".

My window sticker from the dealer stated 17" steel spare wheel and its identical to the other (4) on the XK.

2 questions !
1 is the steel wheel hub centric ?

2 what do u use for lug nuts ? are they the same as stock alloy or not

They are hub centric. You can use the stock lug nuts however I went out and got black ones from American Racing.
