Default AEV ProCal Module A MUST BUY!

Need a programmer for your JK? Gear swap, bigger tires, Tire pressure monitoring system light driving you nuts?

I was not sure of this product till I used it myself and its worth every penny. The second you change your tire size its payed for itself!

No I dont work for the company I just want to pass this info on to other people who may not have heard about this.
Simply a happy customer

Here is a good video demo showing the use of the Module. Not sure if they are experts but the video is of high quality, put together well and informative
http://www.mefeedia.com/watch/25193239

They used police radar to see there actual speed. I used my GPS its been used in 4 different vehicles and is 100% accurate.
You can do the same just watch your speedo and make sure its matching the gps to see if your speed is accurate.

Also like they say measure the tires yourself!!! don't rely on manufactures specs.
Example my Pro Comp AT's are listed at 35" and where actually 33.75"

I hope this helps, Happy Jeepin and less speeding tickets

I agree. Money well spent. Got mine 2 weeks ago with my lift and just shutting off the TPMS and calibrating the tire size paid for itself as the dealer would have wanted $150.

X2. Very cool for the price you have to pay. I used mine for lowering the TPMS sensor reading, and recalibrated for my 33's and helped me recenter my steering wheel with ease. I keep it in the glove box...worth every penny!

I originally went to the dealer to adjust tire size and they said they would do it for free.. so we got started and they realized they did not have the ability to change the tire height..lol.. 32" was all they could program in. They would not touch any of the other features and did not have the software so this module was a HUGE help

Personally don't have one, but seen it used and it's awesome. The ability to increase idle RPMs for winching/air compressors using the light dimmer is outta-control...just a great piece of kit!

Here is a stupid question.... I know with my Harley they can tell that I have flashed the system with my race tuner. There is a flag that says flashed and its a value of Y or N. Once I flashed the computer the flag was switched from an N to a Y.

Does the AEV Procal trip anything on the factory computer? In other words does it leave any history that the computer was modified? I know there is an option to reset the computer to factory settings through the tool. Just wondering if it left any clues behind.

The procal is a great buy if you just want to do a little calibrating. The Superchips Flashpaq takes all that and adds custom tuning via several programs. It costs a little more but definitely well worth it if you want to step up the computer even more!

I was reading about that and in the manual it says you can set it right back to factory settings with a simply flick of the switches and leve no trace of you messing with the computer.

The only thing that happens is your vehicles vin is imprinted on the Module the first time you use it so it cant be used on multiple jeeps. After you set your jeep back to factory settings all info is erased and its like nothing happend. then you are able to use the module on another jeep
