Any other Sahara owners with Painted Inserts?
One of the main reasons I got a Sahara instead of a Rubi was I really like the Monochrome (read: painted fenders) look. I know, style over function....
That said, my initial thought was "what is up with these Satin Silver bumper Inserts?". They really don't look good in Satin Silver, so I had them painted the same color as the rest of my Sahara.
Have any of you other Sahara owners painted or thought about painting your bumper Inserts? Here are mine and I really, really like them painted, but to each their own.

well i think the silver accent look ugly but painted ... its hummm nice
i am not a big fan of to much color but i like that. i have a rescue green sahara and i only want the fenders to be green. the rest ( other than the body ) will probably be black.
but truly, i think it looks good.

i've been planning this out since i got the jeep but been waiting to flat fenders so i only have one trip to the booth!

Thanks for all of the positive comments.
It is very easy to remove the rear bumper as it is only six (6) bolts that are somewhat easy to get to (4 are very easy, and the other 2, I had to use an elbow on my ratchet to get to them best).
Here is the little Husky low-profile wrench that I used to get to the Torx screws. They are T-20's. This will work well on the front Insert.

Every Since I saw those inserts, I wanted one for the front of my Sahara. I agree with everyone else that is yours looks very good. My JK is silver, so no need to paint mine, even though it kinda blends in with all the others
