Does anyone have some pics of their Yakima megawarrior roof rack system, and basket? I can't afford a full roof rack. Are there any other similar priced basket racks out there?

 

Go to discountramps.com they have similar style and size and a lot cheaper.

Your post is what got me looking, but I was too late for yours!

 

Do you have this setup on your JK? Do you have part numbers for the cross bars?

Any pics? Their prices are very nice.

 

Looking at the latching system it's similar to my Yakima Skybox latches. I am using the Thule 300 gutter mounts on thule LB58 load bars. The gap between that latches maybe an issue if you are considering gutter mounts. However, if you have plans of drilling in your rack into the hardtop then you should have no issues.

I just have the low profile basket. Bought a set of Thule rails on sale at REI for 20% off. Just make sure you get the gutter mounts and go to Thule or Yakime site to get the required length for rails.

 

Why would you need rails if you get the gutter mount??

 

Get Yakima rails and you will have to cut them to fit! Landing pad 1, with control tower, I had 48 in crossbars and Yakima megawarrior and your set!!
