JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

Anyone have pics of the Yakima megawarrior roof rack basket?

Does somebody know which is the maximun load capacity for this system?
Is it suitable for roof tent?

I would NOT use this setup for a roof top tent. The top won't hold the weight. For that application, you should get a Kargo Master, Olympic or other similar style full rack system.

I use the warrior light bar as the front crossbar for my rack setup. It works pretty well on my JKU and spreads the bars farther apart without having to resort to clamping to the removable panels. BTW, I have the Thule gutter mounts and 58" crossbars.

Any pics? Their prices are very nice.
Close up of the Thule 300 gutter mounts on thule LB58 load bars and no trimming required. Looks like the Yakima roof rack basket has similar clamps as my Skybox.

No not a chance...the gutters would surely crack with the added weight of the tent and people getting into the tent.

Has anyone ever had any trouble with the fiberglass and clamping these racks to the drip edge?

3 years and having about 100-125lbs in my Skybox a few times no issues at all no chips, no cracks or damage. The only thing I did was add some 3m Clear bra tape to the ends of my gutter mounts (portion of the mount that sits in the gutter) to reduce the impact on my gutters. I have wheeled with the skybox on the top and driven highway speeds with no issues to the fiberglass.

ok this may be a dumb question so bare with me but is there anyway that one of these gutter mount racks could work with a soft top. ive been looking for something not to exspensive but useful for myself with a soft top. i just cant see getting a full rack for the rare occasion il need it. i remeber seen a while back this setup for a tj with the top down but is there anything out there for us with or with out the soft top.

I have heard one guy placed the gutter mounts into the door surrounds and it worked for him...but this is just word of mouth. In a pinch in the summer, I have just mounted my front freedom panels and mounted the gutter mounts and load bars and carried the cargo that way. I did have to take off my door surrounds for this.
