Default B Pillar Removal

Anyone ever thought of loping off the B pillar and the welding plates to the bottom of the removed section and the top of the portion left on the Jeep. Then make it to where you can have it bolted back on. This would take alot of time and effort. Maybe when I get more time on my hands I will look into this more, but I was wondering if anyone else had thought of this or if Im just crazy.

Here is where im talking about cutting (with a portable band saw):

Whoever owns this Jeep, thanks for the pic!

Here is what it would look like without the pillar. Much better in my opinion:

They went this far for the UA rig, but didnt make it to where you could re-install it.

Thats a pretty sweet ass rig. But good luck on removing the pillar if you decide to do it.

Unfortunately, you would have to do more than just remove the B pillar but rather, you would need to hack out the entire roll bar assembly as the entire thing is welded in. But, I do agree this look is sweet

My Jeep is already black, for now...........

I was checking on what people thought because a cage will be built for it within the next few months and it seemed the proper time.....

Yep, I painted mine black. Here is the thread. I've got the doors back on now and it looks ok. Sorry, no pictures with the doors yet.
