Default Rubicon Express 2" Lift, KM2's, Homemade Bumper

I went with the 285/70/17 KM2's. My bumper is scrap 6" C channel cut into three pieces then welded together. Rubicon Express 2" BB. Koito Fog Lights. Wheel Spacers are coming in this week.

The bumper looks very minimal and very clean. I like it a lot!

Are you getting any rubbing with that size tire on what appears to be a stock setup?

On flat ground it is close to rubbing but not quite. Any type of flex at full turn and I think it would rub a some.

Hey Jboy, did the 285s on a stock X affect your driveability much? I was looking at doing the same size without regearing and no lift yet, auto and 3.73s. Do you have an auto?

I have the 6speed. Only thing I have noticed is I have to give just a little more gas taking off, unless I take off in 1st. I really think this is the perfect tire size since I do a lot of highway driving.

I have the same size going on mine but had to order new rims due to it rubbing the sway bar at full lock when fitted on one of the stock rims.

Looking good though.
