Default Body Armor Doors Installed!

Just put all 4 of them on last night. Turns a lot of heads on the commute to work this morning. Oddly enough, I got a "thumbs up" from an FJ and a H2

By the way, nice bumper and winch! You have great taste
Thanks!! The family got a little too nervous riding doorless. I thought this was a good compromise

I like how they compliment my bedlined grill & bumper. Next on the list... 35 Nittos on ATX wheels

Looks good man. I run the same ones. They seem to be only ones that I thought would look good with my safari straps. How did you find the fit? I had to drill new holes for the latches on three of them or they would of contacted the paint when you try to close the door. They are a really solid door though.

My drivers side is contacting the paint a little bit. I messed with the latch a bit, but nothing seems to help. I think I'm gonna run a small amount of rubber or foam tubing along the edge to save my paint from scuffing up too badly. I'm still loving these doors though!! Also, I'm ordering the spidernetting safari straps from dirtydog so I think they'll match pretty well(wife picked them out).

Here's a new pic from this morning before our beach outing:

They come with the nets. You can order them from some of the sponsors of the forum, but apparently these are on backorder from Body Armor, so you may have to wait in line. They're very easy to install. Taking the old doors off took longer than putting these on.

That's what was happening on the three of mine and it would only catch the first catch. Those latchs are a double latch system similar to the stock door latches. Make sure your catching both to make the door secure. I re-drilled the holes in the door to move the latch further from the door which pulls the door further from the door jam. It achchually looks better that way because the door looks straiter.

Thanks for the tip! I agree, it's almost like a design flaw, they should have made the latch mount further from the door to avoid this problem. I may consider re-drilling the holes. I think I'll try a small amount of foam first and see if it works & if I can live with it.

Btw, your rig looks great! I couldn't see the pics using the iPhone app before. I'm installing the same fenders as soon as my new wheels & tires arrive.
