Default Bumper saves me from deer!

About a month ago I put on my XRC front bumper. Saturday night I was driving in the canyon and a deer jumped in front of me. slammed on the brakes and when I checked the jeep it had nothing wrong with it. sadly the deer died so we pulled it out of the road. has this happened to anyone else?

It happened to my Tacoma (before I had the Jeep). Had a Warn Trans-4-mer on it. Would have totaled the truck without it. I put an ARB on it after that.

Jeep has Shrockworks Mid on it - I'm ready!

Yup. It happened to me. And according to the law in Florida the deer is mine. So hello venison and a good Cabernet! That saves me a bullet!

Seriously, you are lucky. Not a great vehicle to hit any animal with. Deer are and will be moving quite a bit now as their mating season closes in. Most move at night (not profound). Be extra careful.

I hit two small doe's at the same time. Did not have the hoops built on my Bronco's bumper. Not much left of them after they went under my Bronco and trailer I was pulling. Traded in Bronco on JK!
