Default Cheap laptop mount wehen doors removed

my cheap or free doors off laptop holder....i use my pc as a music server and gps while working...i do in home pc repair.Any thoughts.... i also had to slam on the brakes eralier held up fine...in a crash the pc is toast but...

...Hmm...I would not recommend to do that either, but if it works for you than sure it's good. The only thing I would add is something to hold the screen a little so it doesn't vibrate like hell.

I'd do it! Its cool. Anything to do with tech and Jeeps can't be bad. flip on Netstumbler and your good to go. LOL

Here goes my $0.02.

Why not just have the MyGig?? Then, for that matter, you can get a PDA mounted next it (the part # & install instructions are in another thread somewhere) with all your contacts, etc.

That way, your laptop is safe and sound in a bag or backpack.

To each his own, and what works for him works for him, but I do like laptops for navigation too. Their size and screens doesn't compare to any navigation screen size. No and ifs or buts. But the size is also a drawback.

Hey... if it works, it works. Maybe look into investing in a Ram mount one of these days though...


Or, pick up one of those UMPC's that samsung makes (and Asus now too I think...) and ditch the laptop altogether!
