Christmas came early big time
well I've been a member on here for a couple of months and love this site.always has the answers i need when i get into a problem.with that said I've been slowly building my JK and its starting to look like a real jeep.so far i have fabricated a front bumper with winch as well as rock rails.when it finally starts to stay warm I'm going to finish up and build my rear bumper with swing out tire carrier.recently i just installed a rough country lift kit and dual steering stabilizer kit and bumped up to 35'' tires.i was nervous with going that size tire but i figured i can always re gear.well to get to the point of this thread title i went to my local jeep dealer to get a printout of the specs on my jeep since i did buy it used.i do have the tow package but i wanted to be sure i had the 3.73's in it and not just the hitch receiver since it is an 07.low and behold the gentleman came back with my printout and said the guy that purchased the jeep new got the optional upgrade to 4.10's...i couldn't believe it.he made my day and saved me a whole lot of time and money.the ride is great and handles well.no power loss i guess due to the 4.10's hiding behind those covers.so with that said when i can figure out how to upload the pics off my mac ill post them up

finally i think i got it.forgot to mention id like to thank Armedsuspect for the bumper idea.i liked his so much i had to make one for myself with a couple different designs.also i tried to get a good pic of the steering stabilizer to show the little extra effort i took in this build.i ordered new decals from rough country so i could paint all the shocks the same color as the jeep to kinda give it that custom look.hope you like the idea

Thanks everyone. The bumper was my first metal project. Little overwhelming but not too bad as far as the fearing I have no complaints with its power. It drives great on the highway with no change due to larger tires. Where do you see the gains in the larger gears
