I dont know taken the precautionary measures or not but so everyone reading this knows that just putting a snorkel on your Jeep will not make it so you have no problems with your jeep after going through deep water. All of your breather lines need to be extended and EVERYTHING electrical (at least on the engine/drivetrain) will need to be siliconed at the connection points.
These things weren't meant to run underwater regardless of the snorkle and there is no way in hell you can silicon everything electrical to prevent a short in a situation like that.

That is why I said at least the engine/drivetrain so the major parts won't be comprimised.

are you that close minded to say "there is no way in hell" .....obviously you don't have a complete understanding for what these thing are capable of given the necessary set of balls and fab skills

We are still moving in all of the photos posted.
(yes that was my second time through there)

My son was never in danger, nor was he even scared.
He thought it was cool that water was rushing in the floor.
His booster seat kept him above most of the water.

As for those who think it was stupid...
OF COURSE IT WAS STUPID!
almost everything we do in our Jeeps is stupid.
Most extreme activities are just that.
If it was intelligent and tame, it wouldnt be much fun.

All of you "smart" people have fun at the mall.
I will continue to make my children happy and have fun with them.
Material things can be repaired and replaced.

True, it will be a lot of work to fix my Jeep.
and Im sure it wont be cheap.
But my son has a birthday story he will remember forever...
A great time with his dad when they turned a Jeep into a boat.

Wow, can everyone get the hell off of Crash's back, jesus christ he didnt drive your jeep into the puddle so shut up about it. At least his sees more than a flat fire road, my god, give the guy a break. Let me ask you this, if your jeep was out of commission, would you want a bunch of people lecturing you? Hell no, it'd get old really fast. If i was his son I would be stoked to have a memory like this despite if there were negative consequences or not. Damn
