Cross Country Expo Trip Pics
I had been working in Africa for a while, and when that was done and I came back stateside, I left to do something I have always wanted to do. For 6+ weeks now I have been hunting, hiking, camping and offroading my way across the country.
Right now I am in Florida, but my rough route has been as follows: Boston to Penn to Ohio to Iowa to South Dakota to Montana to Idaho to Nevada to San Francisco to Nevada to Moab to Denver to Dallas to College Station, TX to San Antonio to Houston to Atlanta to Sarasota FL.
Over the next few weeks I am doing quite a bit of hunting as I work my way north and finish this beast off. A lot of miles and a helluva lot of fun.
Since I am flying totally solo I haven't done any crazy offroading, but have done a lot of exploring and getting way back in the middle of no where.
Here are some pics.
PA:
Mount Rushmore:
Wyoming:
Idaho:
Nevada:
Went back into the desert in Nevada where there are some natural hot springs, it was 25 degrees that night, but the hot springs are always 103 degrees, perfect camping spot!
Hot springs on the left:
After a soak I hung my boxers up to dry, instead they just froze in 15 minutes:
The next morning I worked my way up to a long forgotten dam:
