Custom modular JK hardtop
I'm not sure of the company's current status, I know they're on other JK-related sites but until I know that they've registered here I shouldn't mention them by name. It shouldn't be too hard to find "Molle Bars" though.
Heard somewhere this is who is making or selling them LJ Safari Cab Full Hardtop | GR8TOPS. Not sure if its true but there crazy expensive and not for the JK.

There is no arrangement with any company at this point for selling the JK Safari Cab, I'm still working on finishing the prototype and I'm not going to decide if I want it to be a commercial product until I get the first prototype installed on my (wife's) JK.

I also saw how expensive the Safari Hardtop was, certainly out of my reach. I imagine the JK Safari will be likewise, but even if beyond my pocketbook, the great ideas here will fire up my DIY imagination.
To fire up your DIY imagination: it costs me about $600 in materials to mold all of the fiberglass parts for a JKU Safari Cab in my home garage
.
The last couple of weeks a few higher priority projects have kept me from doing much work on the JK Safari Cab, but I'm back on it now and finalizing the master for the roof mold. Spent most of the day block sanding to shape the lines and curves, here are a few photos of the work in progress. Still needs a few nail holes filled and some final shaping and finer sanding, but I should be starting to put a finish on it within a few days.

So $600 into it and can't imagine how many hourss, lol. Based on your thread, knew it was all the seller on the price point and most likely due to the limited volume expected and cost to have an outside source do the molding plus there has got to be the factor that they are pretty much the only player in the game.
nice work by the way jscherb

This morning I finished the block sanding and filling nail holes and other imperfections, so the roof master is now ready to start putting a finish on it. I'll start with 2-3 coats of polyurethane varnish to seal the wood, then I'll switch to automotive paints, starting with epoxy primer to provide a good base for the rest of the finishing.
With the roof mold master nearing final shape, I did a few photo-edits to simulate how the entire JK Safari Cab is shaping up (pun intended). This is a very crude edit, so don't be too picky about whether or not things line up exactly; also it's grayscale to make the white fiberglass and the wooden roof master match a little better.

For comparison, here are the concept drawings I posted early in this thread (yes the concept is a 2dr and the photo mockups above are 4dr)...

Here's one of the original photos for the edits above FYI...

This is a beautiful process , a pleasure to see it unfold. Although way out of my Financial grasp, the creativity inspires imitation . I will find a 2 dr hardtop shell ( no glass, or lift gate ) , and do the Roll -Up Safari side and rear curtains. This will make a great Summer top. I had a 4dr hard top shell for this purpose, but sold it when I sold the JKU.
Years ago, that was how Jeep soft tops were configured - roll-up sides and rear curtains, if I remember correctly.
