Default Dana 60's fr- losing turn radius?

I am looking at replacing fr&rr with Dana 60's. I have heard a few horror stories about losing some of the turning radius in front. That is disappointing considering the amount of money they want for these things
I have looked at Rock Jock and Pro Rock's. I have been amazed at the prices! Are these overkill for a guy that is planning to run hard and hit some difficult trails with moderate rock crawling

I have Dynatrac's Pro Rock 60's F&R, and trust me you will loose a whole bunch of turning radius over the stock rearends. On tight trails you will have to be careful. Have you looked at the Pro Rock 44's? Tough and probably more ground clearance along with turning radius comparable to stock. Haven't seen them in action but heard good things.

I have a stock 44 in rr now and need to gear up and add lockers. I figured before I spend a bunch of $ on stocker, I would just make the leap now.

I was talking to a shop owner today who was working on a buddies LJ that had Dynatrac ProRock 60's on it. He said the LJ turned much quicker than when stock (or the TJ in replaced) and turned tighter than his 2 dr JK. I wonder if they speced anything out differntly. I know it doesn't have the king pin knuckes.

chuck45, I think we are comparing apples for oranges, no worries. I don't have kingpins either. I do have PSC steering and about 4.75 offset on my Walkers with 37" tires. Trust me you do loose turning radius over stock. They are full widths. All in all they stick out about a half a tire beyond the stock Rubicon flares. When I had my AEV beadlocks and 37" tires before on stock axles they were pretty close to flush. Its a trade off. You just need to plan your attack on the rocks a little sooner, but its a comfortable feeling knowing you won't break as easy.

All good avise guys! Now i just need to see if I can get these for a decent price! It seems the MSRP is a bit inflated for the wholesaler/dealer margin. What do you think is a fair price for
Front?
Reaer?

Its not the axle type, its the axle width. As you go with wider axles, your turning radius will change. It also depends on where the turn stops are adjusted too. The rear axle width has a greater effect than the front. If the rear axle is narrower than the front, you will be able to turn tighter. If its wider, you will be able to turn less.
